🌟 Community School Coordinator Week 🌟
We’re excited to celebrate this week and thank Becky Barkell, our District Community School Program Director! Becky has been a tireless leader, ensuring the Marsing community has access to crucial services since 2020. Under her guidance, our Community School has worked with partners to reduce barriers like food insecurity, mental health challenges, and primary care needs by offering resources and referrals.
As the district’s Homeless and Foster Care Liaison, Becky also provides specialized support to some of our most vulnerable students. Since 2020, she has overseen our food and clothing pantry, serving more than 59,299 individuals, totaling 16,729 Marsing School District families in need.
