I am Mr. Garcia, and I teach HS Spanish along with being the secondary EL Director. During the winter months, you'll find me mat-side as the Wrestling Coach. During all the other times of the year, hopefully, you'll find me wading through a river trying to convince a pesky trout into taking my fly. Other days you'll find me rooting on teams from my natie Los Angeles: Dodgers, USC, Lakers, and Raiders (sorry Chargers. You aren't LA). Prior to working at Marsing, I taught English and Spanish at the secondary level at COSSA Academy in Wilder.
After leaving California, I attended high school in Homedale. My time after school was spent between the military, fighting fire, and working as an electrician before finding my way into education. I attended Boise State University where I received my degree and teaching endorsements before heading to Marsing to student-teach. My time student teaching introduced me to a great staff (many of which are still here) and community; I'm happy to be back.
